BACK IN BLUEBERRY!!!

During the later Henry J era, Gibson would revamp the model lineup yearly. While this may have caused confusion at the time, this strategy certainly led to the development of distinctive models, with an identity all their own. Each new model year brought something special to the table. Notable in 2017, the boldest new offering was the brand-new “Blueberry Burst” finish, reserved for only the Standard T and HP models.

To provide a more “traditional” Les Paul Standard offering (when compared to the HP version anyways), Gibson offered the Les Paul Standard T (T for traditional). Despite its “traditional” name, this Les Paul Standard is really more akin to today’s Les Paul Modern Figured. It has an asymmetrical Slim Taper neck profile, BurstBucker Pro pickups, compound radius fretboard, and 4 push/pull potentiometers. It is really only traditional in the sense that it does not have the controversial titanium zero fret nut or extra wide neck width.

The top and color of this example is particularly fantastic - modern Gibson doesn’t spray the Blueberry Burst finish like they used to - the Blueberry Burst finish from 2017 is far superior to what Gibson does today. And the AAA Flamed maple underneath is just breathtaking. This is a prime example and has been well maintained over the years, even retaining its original “Only A Gibson Is Good Enough” fretboard protector.

This blueberry is special.

Condition is "Very Good". There are some light scratches throughout. Well-preserved and in great shape for its age. Includes pictured accessories and case.
