Gibson first partnered with Adam Jones in 2020, releasing the infamous first run of Silverburst LPCs. They proved to be immensely popular, so Gibson has released many other Adam Jones guitars, including the Antique Silverburst Adam Jones Signature Les Paul Standard.
The AJ Standard offers many unique features not found on other most instruments in Gibsonâs catalog. It has an exclusive DC High Gain bridge pickup, which is very hot and great for hard rock. It is paired with a BurstBucker 1 in the neck to recreate the T-Top tones from Adamâs original 1979 LPC. The back of the neck has a volute, calling back to the Norlin era. There are other stylizations that recreate Adamâs 1979 LPC like tuner shape, Nashville bridge, black speed knobs, and covered/uncovered bobbin look for the pickups. And even though it is a LP Standard, it has an ebony fretboard with genuine MOP inlays, like a custom. And very notably, the finish and color of Antique Silverburst looks classic and not available often - it is one tasteful interpretation of a burst finish. The value and style this AJ Standard packs in is remarkable.
This is the perfect Les Paul for any hard rocker.
Condition is "Excellent". There is a scuff on the back of the neck, this was present when received brand new from Gibson. Includes case and pictured accessories.Â
